The Unpacked event saw the unveiling of several major products, with the focus now shifting from a hardware launch event to the upcoming Galaxy S25 lineup and what we can expect from the series. Samsung seems to be prioritizing design elements on the smartphone, with previous speculation suggesting rounded corners this time around. A new leak has revealed details of other design changes that could be seen on the S25 Ultra.

Samsung’s Galaxy S25 Ultra is set to get major design tweaks and improved ergonomics

With the Galaxy Z Flip and Fold 6 finally launched last week, users are eagerly waiting for the upcoming S25 lineup. Rumors seem to be intensifying lately, with the S25 Ultra expected to undergo a major design change. This could be in response to consumers pointing out that the S24 Ultra was difficult to hold due to its sharp edges and flat display. Samsung is determined to let users know that they have listened to user feedback and are planning to change this in the upcoming S series.

Users have expressed disappointment that the S24 Ultra’s boxy frame makes it difficult to grip, and the latest reports suggest that Samsung is tracking the issue and will be making these tweaks on the S25 Ultra. Ice Universepreviously hinting that the sharper edges of the S24 Ultra might eventually be replaced. Rounded corners And we recently provided some more information on this.

According to the leak, the S25 Ultra will feature an asymmetrical frame that is more ergonomic to make it more comfortable to hold for long periods of time. The back panel is more rounded, the front is flatter, and the side frames are narrower. The central frame is relatively thinner than its predecessor, and the hinge is smaller, making it easier to hold and look slimmer.

The real leak:
The middle frame of the Galaxy S25 Ultra has an asymmetrical design. The middle frame closest to the back cover is rounded, while the part closest to the screen is straight. This is a design by Samsung that takes into consideration the comfort of holding the phone.

According to the leak, the Galaxy S25 Ultra will be 8.4mm wide, compared to its predecessor’s relatively thicker 8.6mm. Previous reports also said that the company’s choice of a thinner S25 Ultra design will not affect the camera sensor, which will offer the same features and resolution as the company had planned for the model.

By addressing these details, Samsung will be able to improve not only the look of the device, but also address user complaints about the previous model, which appeared wider than it actually was and felt less comfortable in the hand. Even though the phone is still some way away from launch, users are excited about the design upgrades and a revamped back. Camera improvements It is promised to be featured on the Galaxy S25 Ultra.
