Bindi Irwin's painful medical journey ends with life-changing surgeries

After 13 years of “fighting for answers,” Bindi Irwin says she is finally healed.

In a heartfelt Instagram post, the protective theorists revealed the removal of 51 endometriosis lesions, chocolate cysts, her appendix, and herniated repair from birth. Endometriosis expert Dr. Tamer Seckin removed them all between the two Separate surgeries.

What is endometriosis?

Endometriosis affects approximately 10% of women of reproductive age around the world. The US alone will affect around 9 million women. A study published in the Journal of the American Medical Association shows that diagnosis is often delayed, with an average of 5-12 years after the onset of symptoms.
