Holmes II was coming off a great season at Dayton. Average In 33 games, he shot 54.4% from the field and 38.6% from three-point range, averaging 20.4 points, 8.5 rebounds, 2.6 assists and 2.1 blocks per game.
The Nuggets finished last season as the second seed in the Western Conference with a 57-25 record.
