After a tough battle with brain cancer, Michael Strahan’s daughter Isabella has revealed she is finally cancer-free and has said goodbye to frequent trips to the hospital. cancer.

“Everything was great,” the 52-year-old GMA host’s daughter said, before admitting that she’s excited to get back to normal life and get ready to go back to college afterwards.

Earlier in the video, the 19-year-old revealed that she had been in excruciating pain after previously having her chemotherapy port removed.

She said: “My side hurts so much. It feels like I’ve been stabbed. And I’m like, ‘Oh, it doesn’t hurt that much’. I think it’s because all the medicine has stopped working… I can’t even stand up straight.”

“My heart started spasming and I also felt like a tube was going into my heart. I don’t know if that’s how it’s supposed to happen but… it’s not fun.” It certainly doesn’t feel good.”

She later revealed that she will undergo an MRI scan to see if she is still battling the disease.

Before heading in for the MRI, Isabella and her mom headed to a Waffle House, which the 19-year-old calls a “tradition” before a doctor’s appointment.

In the video blog, Isabella shared that she is heading in for an MRI, adding that she will meet with the doctor after the test.

When she arrived at the hospital, doctors put another IV in her arm.

The 19-year-old has since documented her battle with cancer on her YouTube channel, and on Wednesday revealed that she had undergone another major operation after ringing the bell.

After the MRI, Isabella and her mother, Jean Magri, went to Whole Foods to buy some fruit.

“Okay, that’s it for the vlog. I have a meeting tomorrow to go over the scan results, but that’s it,” she said.

The video then cuts to her final medical appointment, before showing the college student in a car.

“The results were fantastic, all clear. No cancer found, everything is good. My next appointment isn’t until October,” she said.

Isabella admitted she was sad that she wouldn’t be able to see a doctor for a while.

She added: “I already miss the doctors and the people who helped me, they’re all really nice people.”

“I love them so much and it just makes me sad today to know that I won’t be able to be at the hospital for a while. So this is my last hospital vlog until October!”

The video then cuts to her final medical appointment, followed by footage of her in a car.

“I knew something was wrong since September,” she said. “By October 1, I was experiencing headaches, nausea, [I] I couldn’t walk straight.

At first, Isabella mistook her symptoms for dizziness, and Michael confessed that when his daughter told him about her symptoms, it never occurred to him that they could be a sign she was battling cancer, especially since she was 18 and very “young, strong and healthy.”

However, on October 25, Isabella revealed that her condition suddenly deteriorated and she began vomiting blood upon waking.

Isabella joked that she thought “this might not be good,” and revealed that she texted her sister what was happening, and then “let the whole family know.”

Michael said he had been informed that his daughter had a brain tumour before she did, but explained that he “don’t really remember” the moment he found out about the diagnosis.

Isabella was eventually diagnosed with medulloblastoma, which accounts for 20 percent of all childhood brain tumors, according to GMA.

Michael said the family decided at that point that Isabella “needed to be thoroughly examined by the doctors,” adding that they were “thankful to the doctors… I feel like they saved her life.”

Isabella said doctors “ran an EKG and other tests” before sending her to another facility for an MRI.

On arriving at hospital, Isabella was told she had a “fast-growing four-centimeter tumour at the back of her brain” and needed emergency surgery.

Michael said he learned about his daughter’s brain cancer before she did, explaining that he “doesn’t really remember” the moment he found out about her diagnosis, but “I do remember trying to figure out how to get to Los Angeles as quickly as possible.”
