South African actress Esta Terblanche, who starred in the hit soap opera “All My Children” for many years, has passed away, her publicist and manager said.
She was 51 years old.
Terreblanche spokeswoman Lisa Rodrigo said: Facebook“It is with great sadness that I announce that my friend and client, Esta Terblanche, passed away Thursday from natural causes. Autopsy report is pending,” he wrote.
“I am still in shock and it is hard to process. Esta was a beautiful soul inside and out. I am proud to have known and worked with her. There is much more to come,” she wrote. “May she rest in peace with the angels.”
Online coroner’s records show Terblanche died at his Los Angeles home, but no details were provided about the cause or manner of death.
“Esta was a very kind, loving, generous and caring person,” her manager, Annie Spoliansky, told NBC News on Monday.
“She cared deeply for all people and animals, including the squirrels she fed and cared for every day, and two cats and a recently born kitten that she cared for like her own children,” she said. “Esta was always a generous and loving person to me and I am grateful to have known her and devastated to hear of her passing.”
Spoliansky posted on social media on Sunday: “I am deeply saddened to learn of the passing of my dear friend and client, Esta Terblanche. She was a beautiful and kind soul and will be greatly missed. Her longtime role on ‘All My Children’ will live on.”
