The hands-on review shows off the Pixel 9 Pro XL’s body design with rounded corners, and as shown in previous renders, Google’s next Pixel will have polished flat edges that the YouTuber says are reminiscent of the iPhone 13 Pro Max.
The glossy finish means it’s likely to pick up plenty of scratches and scuffs with everyday use, and unlike the frame, the Pixel 9 Pro XL’s glass back has a matte finish for better grip.
Google is leaving the Pixel 9 Pro XL’s volume rocker and power button in the same position as they were on the Pixel 8 Pro. The SIM tray has been moved to the bottom left of the USB-C port.
