After man wins cancer lawsuit, new bill could protect pesticide companies

The bill, waiting for Georgia Gov. Brian Kemp’s desk, has attracted criticism from supporters of the “American Health” movement, which claims it would hinder pesticide lawsuits.

Glyphosate, a pesticide used in products such as Roundup, has been shown in research to increase the risk of cancer.

In a study published in the Journal Mutation Research, researchers at the University of Washington found that exposure to pesticides increases the risk of non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma by 41%.

“In many cases, farmers spray rolls on the grain just before harvesting to make harvesting easier,” Ryerson said.

Amid concerns about fertility, Ryerson brought three sperm samples to the lab to test and said glyphosate was present.

“The bill literally makes America sick again.”

“It crosses the barriers to blood tests and has also been shown to kill sperm,” she warned. “So now, when you eat it every day, it’s all omnipresent – it’s underwater. It’s in the food, it’s in the air. We can’t avoid it.”

Several studies published in peer-reviewed medical journals found that glyphosate could harm sperm quality.
