An Air Canada flight from Morocco to Montreal was canceled after a flight attendant was caught on camera yelling at a passenger who reportedly asked for a blanket.
Video of Friday’s incident on Flight AC73 from Casablanca shows an enraged female flight attendant yelling in English and French at unseen passengers while making angry gestures.
“Behave or you’ll get off!” the flight attendant yells in the video filmed by another passenger. “No bullying of flight attendants!”
She was filmed ignoring requests to call the captain, running up the aisle, then turning around and shouting: “Everybody behave! Be quiet or we’re getting off!”
The accident occurred when a passenger asked for a blanket. CTV News reported..
Air Canada confirmed the flight was canceled and that a new crew was deployed to get passengers to their destinations on Sunday. The airline told CTV News it would also offer compensation to passengers for both the delay and the unsettling incident.
“We are taking this incident very seriously,” spokesman Christophe Hennebel said.
“We are currently investigating and will take appropriate action. We sincerely apologize to our customers that their experience today was far from what they expected from flying with Air Canada.”
