Updated July 11, 2024: Amazon has added three big games that Prime members can claim for 48 hours only, starting at 3 a.m. ET on July 16. The games are Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League, Chivalry 2, and Rise of the Tomb Raider: 20 Year Celebration. We’ve updated the article below to reflect the new additions.
As part of the preparation Prime DayAmazon is offering 18 free PC games to Prime members in an effort to promote Prime Day and entice video game fans to sign up for the service (it offers free PC games every month, but it doesn’t usually have this many). The set includes standouts like Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League, TMNT: Shredder’s Revenge, Hitman Absolution, and KOTOR 2.

The news of the PC gaming giveaway came shortly after Amazon made its official announcement. Prime Day DatesThe massive sales event will take place on July 16th and 17th, 2024. As always, online retailers’ mega sales Black FridayLevel discounts are available on products in almost every category.

As you can see, some of the games are available now, while others will be released on specific dates between now and July 16. It’s also worth noting that these games will need to be redeemed on specific online stores like GOG, Epic Games Store, etc. I guess this has to do with what kind of deals and promotions Amazon was able to put in place to secure the games.
All you need to do to download the games is have Prime membership, and you’ll also need it to take advantage of the Prime Day discounts when the sale starts on July 16. If you sign up now, even if just for a month, you’ll get all of the games mentioned above, plus all of the Prime Day benefits for the duration of the sale.
