Apple Releases First macOS Sequoia Public Beta With iPhone Mirroring and More

Apple released a beta of the next version today. macOS Sequoia The update will be provided to the public beta testing group, giving the public a chance to try out the new operating system’s features ahead of its launch in the fall. The first public beta will contain the same content as the third developer beta.


Public Beta testers can download macOS Sequoia from the Software Update section of the System Preferences app. Sign up for Apple’s beta testing website Opt in to the public beta in the Beta Updates section.

The biggest features of macOS Sequoia are iPhone Mirroring is designed to let you control your iPhone from your Mac using your keyboard and mouse, so you can see notifications and use iPhone apps even when your iPhone is put away and locked. And coming later this year, you’ll also be able to use the feature to drag and drop apps from your Mac to your iPhone and vice versa.

Improved window tiling makes it easier to view multiple windows on your Mac in a way that suits you, Safari now summarizes websites to show highlights, and the Messages app now supports scheduled messages and the Tapback feature on any emoji.

Introducing the new Password app to manage your passwords, logins and passkeys. photograph The app has a new design, the Notes app now supports audio transcription and summarization, and you can also input any equation and have it automatically solved.

‌macOS Sequoia‌ supports all of Apple’s new Intelligence features, iOS18 Updateoffering all kinds of quality of life improvements. You can create unique images with Image Playground and make your own emoji with Genmoji. ‌Photos‌ includes a cleanup tool to remove unwanted images. Siri It leverages AI for better language understanding and contextual relevance, and Siri can consult ChatGPT for even the most complex queries.
