In a review published earlier this year, we called both sizes of laptops “great computers with great performance, beautiful screens and incredible battery life,” and the M3 MacBook Air lasted more than 10 hours in our video-playback battery stress test.
B&H’s $200 off offer is for the 13-inch model, while the retailer (which operates online but also has a brick-and-mortar store in Manhattan) is offering $150 off the 15-inch model. If you want more space for your apps and desktop (or, like me, need larger text because of my aging eyes), the larger model might be a better choice.
One thing to keep in mind before ordering is that B&H’s return policy states that they will not accept returns or issue refunds on computers once the packaging has been opened. If there are any issues out of the box, you can contact customer service for an exchange, but buyer’s remorse alone will not get you a refund. This is in contrast to competitors like the Apple Store, Amazon, and Best Buy, so take that into consideration before you buy. That aside, B&H has been an Apple partner for almost a decade and has built a solid reputation with customers since its founding in 1973.
