It’s sad that Judas resembles Bioshock
Judas still looks like Bioshock, nothing to get excited about.
At least four other Plasmid abilities appear to be part of the gameplay. In the top left corner there is an hourglass, which could hint at some kind of time control ability. In the bottom left corner three more Plasmid abilities are shown. The first is a stopwatch symbol, meaning time will be some kind of factor in the game.
The other two symbols shown are a magnet and a lightning bolt. It’s probably safe to assume that the lightning bolt is the electricity-based ability that’s central to BioShock, while the magnet could be something related to telekinesis, though this isn’t very clear.
Whoever the protagonist is, they are carrying a “Ricochet Shotgun”, which bears a strong resemblance to the Rivet Gun from BioShock 2. Also visible are three weapon placeholders and a “Y” button, which can potentially be used to swap weapons, and all three placeholders are the same image, which could mean that players can only use three weapons at a time.
The game’s setting is hard to gauge. The player’s character faces what appears to be a lighthouse, a central motif in BioShock. It’s dark and overcast outside, making it hard to pinpoint exactly where the game is set. That said, the lighthouse’s presence alone gives us some idea of what BioShock 4 will be like, but it will likely at least continue existing story threads.
Considering that this game was announced in 2019The good news is that it’s still in active development, so we may be able to use it soon.
