Deadpool and Wolverine is on track to have a blockbuster debut, setting the record for the highest opening and grossing R-rated movie of all time. But critics are ranking it in the bottom half of MCU movies, so what are audiences thinking? They’re raving about the movie.
As it stands, Deadpool and Wolverine Second highest viewer score That’s the second-highest total in the history of MCU movies, behind only two other films that are tied for first place. Here’s the full current list, including Deadpool and Wolverine:

97% is a remarkable score considering 30+ movies in the MCU and everyone’s suffering from superhero fatigue. more Same goes for critics, who I think give superhero movies a lot lower ratings now than they did a few years ago. For reference, Deadpool 1, which wasn’t in the MCU at the time, got an 85% rating from critics and a 90% rating from audiences, while Deadpool 2 got an 84% rating from critics and an 86% rating from audiences.
Well, there’s a reason they call it “fan service”: Two of the top three films share a similar concept of non-MCU heroes entering the MCU in some capacity: No Way Home, featuring Sony’s Spider-Man, and the Fox-era smash, in which Deadpool and Wolverine need to save both their timeline and the MCU. Hated How many cameos and inside jokes there were, but I don’t think so, and neither do the fans who are generously giving it high scores.
After that, what’s clear to me is that this movie solidifies the idea that these two are going to be in the MCU for a long time, because they’re not going to leave these characters behind for a potential billion-dollar box office hit — or, in Wolverine’s case, recast them — but who knows what will happen from here.
