Updated July 22, 2024 — After adding one more tool to his arsenal – the Majestic Ancestral Spirit’s Winged Great Horn boss weapon, which can weaken enemy defenses with Battle Ashes – Ainrun was able to deal even more damage to the boss, hitting 105,527 damage in a single melee attack.
“Yes, my best work yet. 105,000 damage in one melee shot,” he said. “That’s the limit. Goku and Vegeta combine with Majin Buu.” You can watch the kill video here. hereBe careful though, as it contains spoilers for the final boss battle.
Original Article: Last month Elden Ring: Shadow of the Eld Tree DLC It’s brutally difficult, to say the least, even by From Software standards. But of all its challenging battles and encounters, none are more formidable than the expansion pack’s final boss. With a ridiculously large HP pool of 46,134, resistance to almost every damage type, and a deadly move set with deadly combos and narrow counterattack windows, many players agree that he is the hardest Soulsborne has ever seen.
But even a boss this difficult can’t escape Elden Ring’s cheapest yet most powerful strategy: stacking a ridiculous number of buffs to unleash a super-powerful attack that can one-hit kill the game’s toughest big bads. I’ve seen a few players one-hit kill him with this tactic over the past few weeks, but the most impressive kill I’ve seen was a Elden Ring This was shared by content creator Ainrun on Sunday afternoon.
The following contains spoilers for the final boss fight in Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree DLC.
If you watch the embedded video, you can see that the deletion was done skillfully. clip the below described, Ainlan Stacks 18 damage buffs (yes, 18) with an assortment of consumable-fueled self-triggered status effect triggers and carefully timed hot-swaps into various talismans and armor that provide temporary bonuses under certain conditions, then swoop into the boss’s arena, activate your Royal Knight’s Resolve skill, and time a perfectly charged heavy attack with your Fire Knight’s greatsword. Ladaan the Promised Spouse Flying in, stabbing him and dropping his jaw 93,598 Damage — that’s just over double his total HP, just under 100,000 — and evaporated his entire health bar. Not even the Phase 2 transition cutscene could save him.
This is the max damage I was able to achieve with Radahn with all the new buffs available in the DLC and the base game buffs. I was able to get over 100k on weaker bosses but I didn’t know how to reach 100k+ with Radahn. Maybe another time 🥲July 21, 2024
I’ve watched this video countless times now and compiled all the different buffs that Ainlan used for his impressive takedown, listed below to help you out if you want to see if you can pull it off: Note that you will need items such as Flamestone of Insanity, Calming Branch, Raw Meatball, and a weapon with Seppuku Ashes to cast Madness, Sleep, Poison, and Bleed on yourself respectively.
- Elder’s Delight (+20% after Madness activates)
- Hand of Madness (+7.5% after Madness is activated)
- Saint Trina’s Smile (+20% after sleep activation)
- Holy Blood Flesh (+14% when bleeding occurs)
- Blood Boil Aromatic (+30%)
- Commander’s Standard Ashes of War (+20%)
- Mushroom Crown (+10% after poison effect)
- Decayed Bloodline’s Joy (+20% after poison effect)
- Poison Hand (+7.5% after poison activation)
- White Mask (+10% after bleeding is activated)
- Bloodline Rapture (+20% after Bleeding)
- Axe Talisman (Charge Attack +10%)
- Spike Crack Tear Physic (Charge Attack +15%)
- Two-handed Sword Talisman (+15% for two-handed weapons)
- Spear Talisman (+15% piercing damage against attacking enemies)
- Red Feathered Branch Sword (When HP is below 20%, +20%)
- Rakshasa Armor Set (+8%)
- Royal Knight’s Determination Ashes of War (+80% to next attack)
The reason this works is because Elden Ring’s buffs often stack multiplicatively, meaning that timing it well and activating many of them in one powerful attack can lead to some truly ridiculous damage numbers. FromSoftware tried to balance this by only having one buff of a given type active at a time, but crucially, that limit is do not have This applies to temporary bonuses gained from talismans and some weapons and armor, so Ainrun was able to combine all of these buffs with fast hot swapping, and boost it all with the Royal Knight’s Resolve skill, which increases the damage of the next hit by a whopping 80%.
It’s also worth noting that Ladahn is vulnerable to piercing damage (his only weakness throughout both phases of the fight), which is what the Fire Knight’s greatsword’s powerful thrust attack deals. He was even hit midway through his first move, triggering the Spear Talisman’s buff.
“This was the maximum damage we were able to achieve for Radahn using all the new buffs available in the DLC as well as the base game buffs.” I have written Ainrun said in the comments of the video on social media, “I was able to exceed 100,000 on weaker bosses, but I didn’t know how to do it on Ladahn. Maybe next time.” Personally, I’m surprised the damage can get that high. Jeez.
Since Elden Ring’s 1.12.3 patch nerfs the Broken Perfume Weaponplayers have resorted to other methods for cheap one-shot shenanigans. Ainrun’s strategy is the most damaging one I’ve seen, but as a YouTuber Titus Actual This program, named “Doctor One Shot”, video As embedded above, Shadow of the Erdtree’s new Priestess Heart dragon transformation and Ancient Dragons’ Lightning Strike spell make the job easy, and Impenetrable Thorns’ sorcery is still as powerful as ever, allowing you to inflict multiple bleeds on a boss with a single cast.
