Farming Nerf, Cooldowns Reduced, Gold Increased

Hope your farming is going well Valby. The First Descendant will patch the most efficient farm through a hotfix today. It doesn’t seem to be live yet, but at least for me, the hotfix should be live sometime today.

we have Patch notes of changesThis is an attempt to add some buffs on top of nerfing farming after a translation error nearly caused it to be nerfed. more It was meant to be a top tier farming spot instead. It wasn’t. So, here are the changes:

• Valby farming will be double nerfed. Fewer enemies will constantly spawn, and they will give less gold and kyber. Fewer monsters means less XP gain for player and weapon. But we’ll see if it’s worth it compared to other options.
• The good news is that the outpost cooldown has been reduced from five minutes to one minute, meaning no more long wait times and no more having to load back and forth between zones to randomly reduce the timer.

• Void Fragments now drop in Special Operations, which previously were primarily wave-based activities just for XP gain and weren’t worth the effort on the harder levels. Now you can earn them to earn Void Fragments for your Reactor.
• Special Operations also provides an increased gold generation, but not through direct drops onto the ground. Instead, the Arrest Mark and High Value Arrest Mark consumables are increased by 10 times, converting to 100,000 gold and 1,000,000 gold respectively.

The patch notes also include a preview of Ultimate Valby, Luna, the new Void Boss Gluttony, and new weapons Peace Mediator and Archconcretion. Additionally, AOE heroes Valby Blair and Freyna will receive buffs, as will Enduring Legacy, Secret Garden, Nazeystra’s Devotion, and Greg’s Reversed Fate.

As for the nerf to the farm… I get it. You don’t want to keep going round and round trying to be the best farmer in the game to get gold, kyber, character XP, and weapon XP at the same time. In reality, the farm was far from it. I know everyone was excited that the farm wouldn’t change, but I don’t think it was healthy for the game.
