As one winter storm leaves, another is heading for Greater Cincinnati. Snow cover may cover roads mid-week. Live Radar // Latest Weather Warnings // Closures and Delays Another strong and potentially high impact storm is expected late Tuesday into early Wednesday. A Winter Storm Warning is in effect for Hamilton County from midnight Tuesday through 1:00 pm Wednesday. The snow cover moves after midnight and accumulates rapidly as the snow becomes heavier. Most of the snow will settle before sunrise on Wednesday morning. By about 8 a.m. Wednesday, Cincinnati will turn to sleet or rain. The rain/mix line works from south to north from mid-morning to midnight. By noon, all but southeastern Indiana in the northwest will likely have rain, with snow remaining until noon.Total snow increases the farther north/northwest you live. Most around Cincinnati pick up 2-4 inches. North/Northwest regions can be closer to 4-5 inches. Expect snowy roads and messy travel Wednesday morning. Light rain/drizzle is in sight, so the roads should begin to slowly improve on Wednesday afternoon. Heavy rain likely again Wednesday after 5 pm. Light rain and snow showers remain in the forecast behind this for Thursday and Friday. The next chance for dampness arrives as rain or a winter mixture on Sunday.
