Will Simone Biles be appearing on tonight’s show?
Yes. Although she’s not in the medal round, Simone Biles will be appearing on a primetime show tonight. Biles appears to have hurt her leg while warming up before the competition, but that didn’t stop her. One of Biles’ coaches, Cecil Lundy, told reporters that she’s not worried about Biles being able to compete in Paris. Lundy added that Biles “has a little bit of pain in her calf. She felt a little bit of pain when she was sitting on the floor.”
Biles competed in preliminaries today in floor exercise, vault, uneven bars, and balance beam. She advanced to the finals in floor exercise, vault, and balance beam. She is currently first reserve on uneven bars.
