Indiana Governor Mike Brown (R-Ind.) has become the latest leader in health-related policies. On Tuesday, Brown signed a package of nine executive orders to “make Indiana healthy again.”
Secretary of the Ministry of Health and Human Services (HHS) Robert F. Kennedy Jr. Dr. Mehmet Oz, administrator of Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS), joined Braun at an event Tuesday, with all three talking about the importance of healthy eating.
“This is a public health agenda that’s perfect for one size rather than the usual top-down. We focus on the root cause, providing Hoosiers with clear information to make decisions that impact health, making easy access to fresh local food from incredible farms in Indiana, and tackling the issues of government programs that reduce community health.

“Seed Oil Free” Restaurants and Foods Get Healthy Marks of Approval
On his order, Brown made changes to the Supplementary Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP), calling for research into the effects of artificial food dyes, and outlined a comprehensive chronic disease plan focusing on diets for Indiana residents.
One major change in SNAP requires healthy beneficiaries who are currently not seeking employment. Additionally, candies and soft drinks will no longer be eligible for purchases as an Indiana SNAP perk. During the event Tuesday, Brown said snapdrinks will become sweets more than fruits and vegetables.

In a statement, Kennedy praised Brown’s “brave and visionary leadership” and urged governors across the country to sign similar executive orders. Make your state healthier. Oz also praised the Indiana governor’s work, saying “prioritizing prevention, proper nutrition and healthy lifestyle choices will help younger generations succeed for life.”

Later last month, Kennedy appeared with West Virginia Governor Patrick Morisey (R). Exercise regimen And the diet of carnivorous animals. According to CDC data, West Virginia is the most obese state, followed by Mississippi and Arkansas.
Morrisey celebrated the SNAP reforms and said that he “returns nutrition back to ‘nutrition’ in the Supplementary Nutrition Assistance Program.”
