As temperatures rise and become hotter in July, get ready to enjoy the power of the new full moon, also known as the “Buck Moon.”

Famous Astrologers Kyle Thomas is Cosmic Guidance It’s a hot topic among celebrities, businesses, and online influencers on “Good Morning America.” The best way to use it Of this brave and passionate full moon.

But first, let’s break down the meaning of the Buck Moon.

When can you see a full moon?

The full moon will reach its peak in the United States on Sunday, July 21 at 6:17 a.m. EST. United States Naval Observatory.

Why is it called the Buck Moon?

of Old Farmer’s AlmanacBuck Moon magazine, which first began publishing full moon names in the 1930s, notes that some Native American tribes named the July full moon “Buck Moon” because it usually occurs in early summer, when a buck’s new antlers, wrapped in velvety fur, protrude from his forehead.

According to the publication, other Indigenous peoples also refer to the full moon by other names, such as the “molting moon” or “salmon moon,” which indicate when fish return to the area and are available for harvest.

meanwhile, National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) Europeans also called the full moon the Hay Moon, after the hay-making season in June and July, and the Mead Moon, after the drink made by fermenting honey with water and sometimes adding fruits, spices, grains, or hops.

What zodiac sign is the Buck Moon in July?

The constellation of a full moon is determined by where the moon is in the night sky. Different constellations have different positions for the moon. The moon’s position changes every year, and so do the features surrounding it, Thomas said.

This year’s Buck Moon falls as a Full Moon in Capricorn, an earth sign, the 10th on the wheel, and on the opposite axis to Cancer, a water sign.

“The Cancer-Capricorn axis helps us understand the heritage we have built, but also how we build from our traditions and our past,” Thomas said, noting that these two signs reflect each individual’s private and public life.

“The planet is all in its vast dance right now, so even when obstacles are thrown your way, the best thing you can do is take a step back, pivot, focus on joy and connection, and brainstorm how you can build your greatest legacy,” Thomas added.

Many ancient cultures and religions celebrate celestial cycles, including finding ways to respect and harness the power of the full moon.

To make the most of this powerful energy, many astrologers believe that the full moon is the best time to make your dreams come true.

Thomas said that because Capricorn is an earth sign, incorporating nature into your rituals can be especially helpful.

Thomas adds that earth signs also control money, so manifesting using herbs, plants, crystals, earth, paper money, coins, cheques and gold, for example, can be quite effective.
