What can Brown do for you?
For those looking for big news 2024 British OpenDaniel Brown, a 29-year-old British golfer, won on Thursday after a lackluster recent tournament performance. Brown took the lead from Shane Lowry. He made a birdie putt on the 18th hole to take sole possession of first place going into the second round.
Brown was decisive, planned and perhaps even precise all afternoon on the later holes, wasting no time and sinking a birdie putt that perhaps signaled to the other players he was in the right frame of mind for the rest of the tournament.
Heading into round two, Brown will need to keep his luck at bay against Lowry, and he says he might need to make sure his family and friends don’t get too excited.

Winds pick up at Royal Troon
It wouldn’t be The Open without the weather playing a part, and suddenly with the wind affecting play around Royal Troon, the second half of the second round is set to get pretty interesting.
Justin Thomas bogeys the second hole
Justin Thomas began the second round tied for third at three under par, but the two-time PGA Championship winner is already one under par back.

After more than 20 minutes, he drops and hits it just short of the green. He then two-putts for a double bogey, retiring him from the lead with Daniel Brown.
