Yankees Slugger Aaron Judge hit his 60th home run of the season on Tuesday night, the Yankees’ 147th game of the season. This is truly a historic campaign as Judges lead the majors in home runs, RBI, runs, on-base percentage, slugging percentage, OPS, OPS+, total bases, WAR, and several other categories. He also leads the AL in batting average and is currently on course to become a Triple Crown Champion. In the last 55 years only the 2012 Miguel Cabrera has achieved it.
Overall, Judge is .316/.419/.703 (214 OPS+) with 60 home runs, 128 RBIs, 123 runs scored, 16 stolen bases, and 9.7 WARs. Nearly everything pops off that line, but mostly his 60th home run.

As you can see, what the Judges are doing in 2022 is truly historic. He has his 15 games left to overtake Maris and set a new standard for his season’s home run excellence for the Americans in his one of the leagues. The judges will try to tie (and potentially break) the record against the Red Sox on Thursday night.
