NetherRealm Studios Mortal Kombat 1The title is “Khaos Reigns” 24th September 2024a new story chapter, Kombat Pack 2, and Animalities. The new Animalities will be available to all players as a free update.
Previous datamining was accurate, with new character DLC now officially confirmed as Cyrax, Sektor, Noob Saibot, Ghostface, T-1000, and Conan the Barbarian. Mortal Kombat characters will be available at launch, with release dates for the guest fighters yet to be determined.

Yes, in lieu of an announcement or panel at EVO 2024 last weekend, series co-creator Ed Boon has announced that a panel is going to take place. July 26, 2024 (Today, that is.) It will focus on Mortal Kombat 1’s “Year Two,” highlighting “the continuation of the story,” future fighters, and some “big surprises.”
Ed Boon previously said that NetherRealm plans to release a “second part with a more substantial story” in the future, but it looks like datamining may already be revealing the next set of DLC fighters for the latest installment.
