Previous studies have shown that vitamin D deficiency can increase the risk of Multiple Sclerosis (MS) – And new research suggests that high dose supplementation may help relieve symptoms.

This study included 303 French adults who had experienced clinically isolated syndrome (CIS). Neurological symptoms It could lead to MS within the last 90 days.

One group of participants took a high dose of cholecalciferol (vitamin D3) (100,000 IU) for 24 months every two weeks.
