Although no specific changes to the guidelines have been announced yet, existing reports from the Biden administration say they contain oils listed as part of healthy eating patterns and provide “essential fatty acids.”
“Oils commonly consumed include canola, corn, olives, peanuts, safflower, soybeans and sunflower oil,” the report said.
