According to Steam ChartsNo Man’s Sky had a 24-hour peak of 48,499 logged-in players on Steam, the most since August 2019, when a player surge saw 61,535 Steam users start playing at the same time.
It also helps that the Worlds Part 1 update is free for all players, so many longtime fans are likely logging back in to see what changes have been made since the game’s heyday.
