The Galaxy Z Fold 6 was released last week to middling reviews, but Samsung may have an even better version on the way — though the “Ultra” and/or “Slim” models may be limited to just two countries.
For the past few months, there has been talk of a mysterious second version of the Galaxy Z Fold 6. It’s unclear what exactly this device is, but “Ultra” Mutant To “slim”. Both are said to have larger displays and thinner designs, with some expecting the “Ultra” to even offer camera upgrades.
Whatever the device actually is, the big question is whether it will actually be built.
There have been numerous reports on this subject, but now a new one has come out, with Max Jambor, a reliable source on Samsung’s upcoming product launches, stating: Result report All-round PC Samsung is set to launch the Q6A in October, along with early versions of the Galaxy Tab S10 and XR headset. Previously, rumors.
It won’t be sold everywhere, however: as previously suggested, the new model appears to only be planned for release in South Korea and China.
The reason for this remains unclear, but I suspect the limited sales channels have a lot to do with the cost of the device and where Samsung’s competitors are. In the U.S. and other international markets, Samsung likes having few major competitors. But in China, Samsung is Honor, Oppo, and Huawei are rapidly catching up on the Galaxy Z Fold’s design and features.
Either way, we’ll have to wait a few more months to see what Samsung announces. Really It can also be folded. In the meantime, the Galaxy Z Fold 6 is available for pre-order now.
