The “Nothing Compares 2 U” singer’s death certificate states he died from chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) and asthma. Irish Independent report Saturday (July 27th).
The death certificate stated that O’Connor’s cause of death was “chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, exacerbation of bronchial asthma and a mild lower respiratory tract infection,” the paper reported.
The certificate was reportedly registered in London on Wednesday (July 24) by the late Grammy Award winner’s husband, John Reynolds.
O’Connor Died She died at her London home on July 26, 2023, at the age of 56. Authorities said she was found “unresponsive.” The following day, police announced that they were not treating her death as suspicious and had handed the investigation over to the coroner’s office to determine the cause of death.
