of Mercedes-AMG GT63 It’s already a rocket ship, but most would say it’s more of a grand tourer than a full-on track car. Enter the new GT63 Pro model, with more power, improved aerodynamics, and, most importantly, better cooling for the engine and trick all-wheel-drive system.
The 2025 Mercedes-AMG GT63 Pro gets 26 more horsepower and 37 pound-feet of torque than the standard model. Its 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 produces 603 horsepower and 627 pound-feet of torque, accelerating from 0 to 60 mph in 3.1 seconds and from 0 to 124 mph in just 10.9 seconds. Mercedes says that’s half a second quicker than the regular GT63, and it has an impressive top speed of 197 mph.

But it’s not just more power that makes the GT63 a better track car; aerodynamics and cooling are far more important, and the Pro model has more of both. The engine gets two new, reinforced radiators mounted in the front wheel arches for improved efficiency. The two differentials and transfer case also get their own radiators with water pumps to maintain the AWD system’s performance during long track sessions.
The GT63 Pro’s front fascia has been redesigned with more air deflectors and larger intakes, and the nose now features active air panels that control the air passing through based on speed and cooling needs. Overall, Mercedes says, lift at the front axle has been reduced by 66 pounds. More trick air deflectors and fins mounted on the underbody, plus a larger fixed wing at the rear, have increased downforce at the rear axle by 33 pounds.

Carbon-ceramic brakes come standard on the Pro. With 16.5-inch discs and six-piston calipers, they’re the largest set of standard ceramics currently offered by AMG. The discs have titanium backing to reduce unsprung mass (a feature on this car). Sorely needed). There are also lightweight 21-inch forged wheels wrapped in Michelin Pilot Sport 5 tires. Ultra-sticky Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 R tires are available as a no-cost option.
AMG Trick Hydraulic Suspension Also standard on the Pro is rear-wheel steering, AMG performance bucket seats and lots of carbon fiber throughout the exterior and interior, although paint appears to be your only option if you opt for a flashy color.
The 2025 Mercedes-AMG GT63 Pro will make its debut at this weekend’s Goodwood Festival of Speed, with deliveries due to begin next year. Mercedes hasn’t said how much it will cost, but it’s expected to be a bit more than the base model’s starting price of $136,050.
