The New York Times mini It’s a simplified version of the newspaper’s long-running large crossword puzzle. On most days, there are 3-5 clues in each direction in a 5×5 grid, but on weekends the puzzles are often larger.
Unlike its larger sibling, the NYT, mini Crosswords are free to play The New York Times website or the NYT Games app, but you’ll need a NYT Games subscription to access previous puzzles in the archives.
The New York Times mini is a fun daily pastime that usually doesn’t take much time at all — I try to complete a standard grid in under a minute every weekday — but sometimes I miss a clue or two and have to uncover the answer.

Wow, today went by so quickly mini In no time at all, I found all the hints for Across, which is definitely a good thing since I had no idea about RXS, but I would have quickly figured out all the other hints for Down.
