Wiz Khalifa has reportedly been charged with illegal drug possession after using marijuana while performing at the Beach Please festival on Saturday night.

“The prosecutor of the Constanta Regional Organized Crime and Terrorism Investigation Department has ordered the opening of a criminal case against the defendant (a US citizen) who was being investigated for the offence of illegal possession of narcotic drugs,” Romanian Anti-Organized Crime Prosecutor DIICOT said. stated in a press release Sunday.

Possession of marijuana in Romania can be punishable by up to 10 years in prison.

Page Six reached out to Khalifa’s representatives for comment but did not immediately receive a response.

After the incident, Khalifa (real name Cameron Jibril Thomas) I took him to X “By smoking on stage he showed no respect for the country of Romania,” he said.

Khalifa is often outspoken about his love for marijuana.
