The smartwatch was named this way to help it show up more when people search for those keywords, so shoppers looking for “fitness tracker with heart rate” will find it near the top of the results list. There have been a lot of very inexpensive watches like this this year.apple See” or “Garmin clock.”
Keyword-heavy listings are working, and they must be being bought, as Amazon doesn’t seem to punish stores that game the system. That makes sense, after all. They’re selling at a similarly priced $20/£15/AU$26 deal. Casio The F-91W is the best selling watch in the world.
The big difference here is that the Casio F-91W is not only super cheap, but also famously extremely reliable. I won’t ramble on about this (read my love letter to this product). The Casio watch was the best $15 I ever spent.

Even if the data is not displayed correctly, your health data is probably the most valuable data set you can provide, and it is being sent to a server somewhere for secret purposes. Most major brands of smartwatches have privacy policies that govern how the data is handled. Apple has published a white paper on how it handles user health data, Google It is subject to the GDPR and other data protection laws.
I hit a dead end trying to track down AcclaFit and Viido’s data privacy policies. The Viido website was, amusingly, flagged by my computer’s antivirus software, so I decided not to look any further. AcclaFit has no online presence apart from a Facebook group with around 20 followers. I went a bit further to find the supposed parent company, Shenzhen Wanchuangxing Technology Co., Ltd., and its Alibaba page, but found no information about its use of user data. The company actually sells industrial manufacturing equipment and consumer health trackers.
So while it’s useless as a wearable and potentially harmful when it comes to data usage, the bottom line is: don’t be fooled, even if it looks like an Apple Watch or Fitbit. If you have less tech-savvy friends or family thinking about buying one, even as a gift, tell them not to buy it. Instead, check out the deals on more useful devices and spend a little more money on a tracker that will actually be useful to you.
